Remember when I told you the very cool story of Jessica & Robert and their vow renewal  ?

 

 

Then, just as they planned, I got to share some images from their maternity session  :-)

 

Now….their first child has arrived!  RYKER ERIC  :-)  June 14th  8 lbs. 6 oz.

Brown & Ashby

Hard to believe that little Ashby Grace is already 4 months old!  Before they went on vacation, we were able to get a session in :-)

Ahhhhhhh!  Look how happy this little one is!

 

 

Mom says Brown is making such a good big brother, and loves Ashby.

Speaking of Brown, wow!  Super cute.  Soon, all the girls will be following him around.

 

 

Grandma Linda stopped by for a few pictures.  ADORE these outfits!  3 generations!

Welcome Abby & Anna

Congratulations to Rob, Paige and big sister Emily on the arrival of Abby and Anna!!  They are truly toooo precious.

I had so much fun playing with them and they were really very cooperative too.  First born was Abby, weighing 4 lbs 5 oz.

About 15 minutes later, Anna arrived weighing 4 lbs 9 oz

They look so much alike right now that I could not tell them apart….but Mom could!

Really, I could of stayed there for days to play with these two.  Can’t wait for our next session!

Paige & Rob were already very organized, and had things running smoothly right from the start.  Amazing.  Thanks guys for letting me play with these little angels :-)

Birth Photography – Landon

I’m so glad that I finally get to share some pictures of what “Birth Photography” is all about.  Many couples get the wrong idea of what actually, is being photographed!

I had tried to talk a few clients into birth photography, with no success.  One day, fellow photographer Erin Dietrich posted on facebook ” any photographers interested in photographing the birth of my baby?”  I was very anxious to photograph my first birth, so I contacted Erin right away.  I was very excited to have this coming up, but also worried as she was due in June, my busiest month of the year, especially with weddings.  I for sure, did not want to miss baby Landon’s arrival!

Erin sent me several links to other photographers photography that she liked.  I got more and more excited with each link she sent!  I was editing on Wednesday night at about 10pm, when I got the text.  Her water had broke!  Several texts later….it looks like Landon won’t arrive before the morning.  Sent text back and forth throughout the night  and at  6:54 i get a text “….can you come NOW?”  By 7:17 the text read “Hurry – she’s gonna deliver!”  I arrived at the hospital at 7:20, and little Landon arrived at 7:40!

It was such a beautiful experience, and I am so very thankful that Erin and Scott let me share this huge event, and get my first birthing photos.  I wish I had had more time, but an very glad Landon decided to wait for me :-)  I hope through these pictures, you can see what beautiful and amazing photography birth photography can be.
