It’s always nerve-racking when another photographer asks you to take pictures of them….but Kip with Middle Child Photography made it easy on me:)  He came with his own ideas and even helped direct everyone for me.  How could you not love little Miss Kelsey (whose 5th Birthday is today).  She is use to having her picture taking so she is a ham for the camera:)  I loved working with you guys and look forward to you working with my family this weekend!!!!!

Christmas at the Kangaroo Pouch – Part 1

On Sunday, Santa made an appearance at the new Kangaroo Pouch out at Market Commons!!!  This year was better than last year….less kids cried at the sight of Jolly Saint Nick:)  Kids were also able to get IDs and finger printed to be digitally scanned into the system.  As always…pictures were free if an un-wrapped toy was brought for under privileged kids otherwise a $5 donation was excepted.  Thanks for everyones support and I hope Santa brings everything you asked for:)

Mr. Myrtle Beach-Please Support Katie’s Project

Yeah!!  That time of year again.  The 3rd annual MR. MYRTLE BEACH contest.  This is a Katie’s Project fundraiser, sponsored by The Melting Pot.  It’s really a great cause.  If you don’t know what they do, visit their website and read all about the non-profit organization here:  Katie’s Project

Be sure to vote for your favorite man while you are there :-)  You can read all about the contestants on their site as well. On Friday, September 16th at Valor Park in Market Commons, be sure to join them for a FREE evening of fun!  It will start out at 6:30pm with a fashion show put on by the guys, and there will be an after party at Gorden Bierch.  They have so much going on right now…..including reduced price tickets for Stand-Up Carolina…. just check out their website for all the scoop!

Photobooth at Pine Lakes

Everybody at Katie & Rob’s wedding had lots of fun with the photobooth….including us!!!  You can’t help but to keep on laughing when the guests are really getting into it :-)   The best part?  Well, each guest got TWO copies of their pictures.  One to take home, and the other to create an album page as a guest book for Katie & Rob.  They added their good wishes on the page, and Katie & Rob had an instant photo album to take with them on their Italy honeymoon (though they probably won’t have lots of extra time to look at it :-) )

A huge thanks to fellow photographer Michelle for running photobooth for me!  You rock!

Helena’s First Birthday Party

On April 9th, Helena turned 1 year old :-)  She is a beautiful baby, and I wish her many more happy birthdays with her loving parents!   Maureen and Dick held a very special birthday party for little Helena…and it was PERFECT.  A great birthday cake by Croissants, and a friend even made CAKE POPS for the kids.  I know all Helena’s friends had a great time playing and jumping around in the castle.  It really was a great day!  Thank you Maureen & Dick for letting me be a part of such a special celebration!
