Erin’s Bridal Session

Now that Erin is a married woman :-)   I can show you some of her bridal portraits!  I really loved this session.  She is so beautiful, and we really had fun.

 

Look at those shoes!  I LOVE them.  Her wedding colors were brown and red, and all her bridesmaids had the same shoes.  Can’t wait to show you the wedding pictures.

Her dress not only fit her perfectly in size, but in personality as well.  She looked stunning!

 

This is Bella, the family dog.  She is really a sweet girl and loves being involved in everything her family is doing.  She loved Erin’s dress so much!  When Erin was getting ready, every time we stood still for a minute, Bella had curled up for a nap on the train of Erin’s dress!

Thanks Erin.  Had fun at our session, and can’t wait to get to your wedding pictures.  You looked stunning, despite it being a bit warmish outside!

Birth Photography – Landon

I’m so glad that I finally get to share some pictures of what “Birth Photography” is all about.  Many couples get the wrong idea of what actually, is being photographed!

I had tried to talk a few clients into birth photography, with no success.  One day, fellow photographer Erin Dietrich posted on facebook ” any photographers interested in photographing the birth of my baby?”  I was very anxious to photograph my first birth, so I contacted Erin right away.  I was very excited to have this coming up, but also worried as she was due in June, my busiest month of the year, especially with weddings.  I for sure, did not want to miss baby Landon’s arrival!

Erin sent me several links to other photographers photography that she liked.  I got more and more excited with each link she sent!  I was editing on Wednesday night at about 10pm, when I got the text.  Her water had broke!  Several texts later….it looks like Landon won’t arrive before the morning.  Sent text back and forth throughout the night  and at  6:54 i get a text “….can you come NOW?”  By 7:17 the text read “Hurry – she’s gonna deliver!”  I arrived at the hospital at 7:20, and little Landon arrived at 7:40!

It was such a beautiful experience, and I am so very thankful that Erin and Scott let me share this huge event, and get my first birthing photos.  I wish I had had more time, but an very glad Landon decided to wait for me :-)  I hope through these pictures, you can see what beautiful and amazing photography birth photography can be.

Jessica’s Maternity Session

Wow.  This is such a very sweet story.  Jessica & Robert were married in a short ceremony over 10 years ago, before Robert went off to serve our country.  They had the wedding of their dreams last year, as they promised each other they would do that before starting a family.  Now just look!  Jessica, you look as ravishing as you did on your wedding day!  How did you stay teeny everywhere but your belly??

It’s such an honor for me to be able to continue their story, with their first child :-)  I love these two and sooooo can’t wait to meet their little one :-)

WILL WORK FOR FOOD

A funny thing happened.  New York Prime contacted me about taking a few casual pictures of their guests, without disturbing them too much :-)  Well…… when a special occasion comes along for Walt and I , New York Prime is one of  the first places we think about going! We love their yummy menu!  So we worked out a little trade of images and food.

I just hope I have time somewhere in the future to go out and have dinner!!

I did promise a few of these beautiful ‘models’ I would tag them of facebook :-)

Welcome Sophie Grace

Hannah & Chris at Litchfield

One thing I know for sure….. Hannah & Chris will have a life filled with love, and much laughter.  These two were a dream to work with.  I have rarely seen a couple so relaxed, and ready to enjoy every moment of their wedding day.  You could not have upset either of them if you tried!  Chris and Hannah are so naturally funny.  Not only that, but so were the groomsmen and bridesmaids.  This crowd was so much fun!  Hannah, OMG.  She is GORGEOUS!

Thanks to all the vendors who helped make this such a huge success including Litchfield Beach & Golf and Joe Durivage.

Chris & Hannah — I enjoyed your wedding so much.  It was a perfect day!  It was an honor to photograph such a truly joyous celebration!

Amanda & John

Also getting married this month is Amanda & John.  After traveling here from Virginia with family and friends, they will exchange vows at Grand Dunes Ocean Club on June 29th.  I already know how beautiful this wedding is going to be.  Look at them!!!  They are truly adorable together.  I’m really looking forward to documenting their love for each other, and the perfect day that they have planned.

Erin & Jason

It’s hard to believe that in less than 3 weeks, Erin and Jason will be a married couple!  Their wedding will be at Hidden Acres.  Though I have had photography sessions there before, this will be our first wedding out there.  I’m really excited….it’s beautiful…and so by the way, is Erin!  We already did a Bridal Session so I have a good idea of just how stunning she is going to look!  Yeah!
