Kangaroo Pouch ‘Chicks’ Event

Our Easter event at the Kangaroo Pouch was a huge success!  I have lots of little chickie pictures to show you between now and Easter :-)  All the kids looked wonderful!   Most had a great time though I will say, a few kids did not think much of those baby chicks!  They just wanted as far away from them as they could get – lol.

Jacque & Jason

Jacque & Jason are my adorable couple getting married on June 19th.  How cute are they?  I can’t wait to photograph their wedding!!  They live in Pennsylvania, and are having a destination wedding here in Myrtle Beach.

They went to high school together, but never paid much attention to each other.  They are most defiantly in love now though!  Thanks guys – and thanks so much for taking me to dinner!!  It was so great to get to know you and am really looking forward to June :-)

Welcome to the World Wyatt

Yes….Wyatt’s name came from Wyatt Earp!  LOVE.   Whitney really had to think on this one, as she had all girl names picked out.  Ultrasound did not catch that she was actually a HE, and gave mom quite a surprise!  Wyatt is adorable.  He wanted to stay awake for the whole session, to see what I was doing.  His little eyes followed me closely.  He did at last, drop off into a very peaceful sleep.  Thank you Whitney!  Loved this session and getting the chance to meet your wonderful little guy!

Erica, Kris, Hunter & ????

Erica and Kris are expecting their second child this May.  I have had the great honor, of photographing Hunter, from belly to present.  I adore Hunter.  He has the most beautiful bright blue eyes, and is always a happy boy!  He had a little thumb accident before our shoot, but Elmo helped make it all better so he could come for some pictures :-)

Erica and Kris have chosen not to find out the sex of the new little one, until he/she arrives :-)  I had a chance to do this fun family maternity session, and can hardly wait to meet the new little one.  And…how great does Erica look??  Really.  She is truly glowing!  Today is her birthday, so be sure to send good wishes her way.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERICA!!!

Youth Leadership Academy – 2011

This was the 3rd year I had the honor of photographing Youth Leadership Day, hosted by Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce and Coastal Carolina University.  This years theme:  ”XPRSS URSLF…The Right Way.”

It’s great to see such a bright, energetic and enthused group of  high school sophomores!  These are select students, chosen from over 40 high schools in 6 South Carolina counties, recognizing their awesome leadership abilities and talents.  They spend a full day at Coastal Carolina, split into groups focusing on the fundamentals of ethical leadership, and how to apply it to everyday life.  They concentrate on 4 programs…Integrity, Vision, Inspiration and Communication.  ”ALL THAT” from the Carolina Oprey and Good Vibrations preformed and were interviewed.

Wonderful program…and wonderful young adults!

A FREEZING Maternity Session

Burrrrr.  Sallie and William were very brave….it was FREEZING out when we did maternity session!  In fact it started SNOWING towards the end of the session!  Not so common for Myrtle Beach.  However….we were out of time to reschedule.  Mac arrived a mere 8 days after our session on February 2nd at 7lbs 7oz and 19.5 inches long.    Congratulations Sallie and William!!!

One thing is for sure….little Mac was toasty warm in these pictures :-)

GS Scene – Shuckin on the Strand

On February 12th, GS Scene (A group of young professionals) held their 3rd annual Shuckin on the Strand Oyster Roast at the Hot Fish Club in Murrells Inlet. Ummm…..if you love oysters, this was the place to be!
