I always love doing bridal sessions.  They are fun, relaxing, and I have some time to ‘play’.  However, Rainee’s bridal session happens to be one of my all time favorites.  First and for-most, she is just fun to be around.  She is relaxed, has a contagious laugh, and so willing to try anything!  Now…. let me tell you about her dress!!!  She tried on 2 dresses that she really liked parts of, but neither was perfect.  One, she loved the top.  The other, the bottom.  Just as unique as Rainee herself, she somehow got the dress manufacturer to make the exact dress she wanted.  The top of one dress, with the bottom of another.  Let me tell you….this dress fit her to a tee.  Not only did it fit every curve and hollow of her body, but it 100% fit her personality as well!  I hope to do as well in picking out my own wedding dres !  Rainee my love….you looked STUNNINGLY, GORGEOUS and  BEAUTILICIOUS !  Thank you for hiring me as your photographer.  It has been a wonderful and amazing journey with you two!

Today, one of my spring weddings is being featured on DIY Bride blog and digital magazine.  Angela and Bryan were married last April.  It was a really fun wedding and Liesl Diesel assisted me on this wedding.  We had a blast!  Angela made so many of her details herself, it was perfect for this blog.  I’m always so honored when any of my weddings are published.  DIY Bride started in 2003, making it one of the oldest wedding blogs in the industry.  They publish only about 200 real wedding each year. Thanks to Khris from DIY Bride!  We really appreciate it!

Tyler is one of those kids who remind me how lucky I am.  I have the best job in the world!  As all photographers know, kids Tylers age do not always want to cooperate.  At times, I find myself doing cartwheels, blowing bubbles, and making very strange faces trying to coax a smile out of a child who is not very impressed with having his picture taken.  When someone is standing close to you, pointing something directly at your face, and looking through a peep hole at you….it can be really SCARY!  But not for Tyler.  He is fun, and so easy to work with.

Jenessa was one of Kim’s bridesmaids at the Boudoir Bachelorette Party we had.  These girls were just so much fun…and all so beautiful.  Jenessa was nice enough to allow me to share some of her pictures form her shoot.  Here are a few of my favorites:

Meet Christian & William.  These boys just wanna have fun!  We got together to get a few fall pictures of them, and they greatly cooperated :-)  Thanks Kristine, for letting me share a little time with the boys.  They are wonderful!

Little boys come in all shapes and sizes, Shy and adventurous, full of surprises,
With misshapen halos and mischievous grins, Small dirty faces, and sweet, sticky chins.
They’ll keep you so busy, and yet all the while,  Nothing can brighten the world like their smile.
And no greater treasure has brought homes more joy,  Than a curious, active, and lovable boy!

Today, I can show you some pictures of my beautiful bride Rainee, as she is now a married woman :-)  I cannot begin to tell you the fun we had together, and can’t wait to show you her bridal portraits and wedding pictures.  But first things first.  We started out this summer with her boudoir shoot…

Rainee, who is a vintage inspired girl, wanted to incorporate a vintage car into her boudoir shoot.  They are hard to come by!  In the end, Rainee’s mom found access to a car rumored to once be owned by Elvis Presley (you can see the sticker on the windshield).  Perfect!   Rainee is a great model, and was really ready for some fun…and showed it!  Here are a few of my favorites form the day.

I dare you to tell me that Rainee does not remind you of someone very famous…. as pictured below :-)
