The Kangaroo Pouch is having their grand opening… tomorrow, July 31st at 10:00 am !  Chris and Matt have worked so hard to get everything ready, and it looks BEAUTIFUL!

The Kangaroo Pouch is a near complete baby needs store.  They carry an amazing line-up of baby furniture, strollers, car seats, creative toys, bags, decor (work from local artists)….just about everything you can think of!

Saturday from 10am to 12pm they will have a team of experts who will check out your car seat, and make sure it is safely installed, free of charge.  They have several giveaways, including one for a stroller, so be sure to stop by and register and check out their huge selection of COOL stuff!   961 Mr. Joe White Highway in Myrtle Beach.

You can also visit them and see some great products on their Facebook page:   The Kangaroo Pouch

I love Sarah, Phill and their daughter Isabella.   I felt a connection to them from the first time they set foot in my office.  I can hardly wait to see Sarah in her beautiful dress, and photograph their wedding on November 6th at Grande Dunes Ocean Club!  It’s gonna be a good one  :-)

Family beach portraits are very popular for vacationing families here in Myrtle Beach.  They represent a time during the year when the stress of jobs are left behind, the worries of studying for tests and fitting in at school are gone, and is often of a time of true family bonding.  The phone has stopped ringing, email is on hold, and at last there is time to simply enjoy the company of each other.  It’s great to be able to meet these families at a time when they are fully enjoying life – and capture a moment of that time for them!  I can’t even imagine how busy life would be with 3 handsome boys, each involved in their own activities and doing their own thing!

Columbia’s own Tokyo Joe rocked Broadway at the Beach last week!   Currently, they have produced 5 CD’s and perform 200 shows a year from Virginia to Georgia and everywhere in-between.  They have opened for bands like Sister Hazel, Blessed Union of Souls, Marshall Tucker Band, Bachman Turner Overdrive and more.  Their drummer, Jayson Moore  got an endorsement  from a drum company earlier this year (yikes – forgot which one), and hired me to come get some pictures of them playing at Celebrity Square.

LOVED doing this!  I even got to go up on the stage while they were playing ;-)  Was so much fun.  Thanks Jayson!  Was fun and hope I got what you were looking for!

So many of the couples getting married in Myrtle Beach are destination weddings.  It’s difficult to plan a wedding from miles and miles away.  Many of our brides ask us about florists, DJ’s, the best cake creators and many other wedding vendors.  Why?  Because they love hearing from someone who has had experience with them.  They are hesitant to turn to the yellow pages and chance picking someone who won’t do a great job.

To help all couples getting married, we have compiled a list of vendors we have worked with, and would recommend.  We have written about our personal experience with them, and included pictures where possible (of coarse!) so you can get a first hand view.

Our list is incomplete, and not all links are active yet.  Be patient… we are getting it all up as fast as we can :-)  Meantime, if you need any recommendations, just email us.  We would be happy to help you!  You can click on the link below – or look at the top of this page for our vendor tab.

I had soooo much fun working with Emma.  She is bright and sparkly, and ready for anything!  Emma is from Ohio and was in Myrtle Beach for a dance competition.  I know she must of rocked it out-a-da-park!  In addition to being beautiful and talented, she is an excellent student at #2 in her class.  Emma’s dad wants her to go to an Ivy League college, but mom wants her to stay a bit closer to home.  Where ever Emma goes, and whatever she pursues, she has the confidence and intelligence to do anything in the world she wants.  GOOD LUCK EMMA !!!

While Julie, David and their 2 boys were in Myrtle Beach last month for a baseball tournament, they took a little time to get some family pictures on the beach.  Originally from Connecticut, they are now living in Nashville but hope to return to their home state very soon.  Our time on the beach was SUPER windy.  Yup — hair a flying everywhere!  We fought it and managed to get some pictures though…. aren’t they a handsome family?
